Guided by the principle that COMMUNITY MATTERS, the Birmingham Airport Authority takes pride in working with neighborhood schools, families and businesses to achieve a safer and more prosperous community in which to live, work and profit. It is in that spirit that the Authority partners with its fellow community members to promote and provide programs for enhanced educational and growth opportunities for the young people in our communities.

Partner Schools Program:
It is tougher than ever for children of today to find their path in an increasingly complicated world. The Birmingham Airport Authority knows that it is imperative that we support their growth and development at every step along the way to ensure that each child reaches his or her full potential because they are our next generation of community leaders, business owners, doctors, lawyers, engineers and pilots. With that in mind, the Authority continues to partner with neighbor schools to help them uncover innovative ways of identifying greater resources. This year's Partner Schools are Curry Elementary, Gibson Elementary and Barrett Elementary.

Golf for Schools:
Golf for Schools Birmingham Airport Authority's Annual Golf for Schools has been a huge success raising money for area youth educational enrichment. Since its inception, Golf for schools has provided new computers, audio video equipment, space camp scholarships and student reading stations.
